The colour scheme gives the magazine a retro look because there is a lot of red on black and white. the model gender is male and they look layed back but attentive the clothes also connoted a retro feel a throw back to the beetles perhaps. the dominant text is a bold horizontal and mainly red. the first eye cather is the alex and miles feture because it is different than the rest of the text because it is the only text in white and also it is on a black background the reason for this is because it is the exclusive on the magazine and the main feature.

the camera shot is a meduim shot of the two models back to back with conotats that the they share different views on some subjects however another reading is that it connotates that they have each others backs. the whole photo is in focus this provides a clear impression of the magazines and the interview style. the text is clearly spaced around the faces of the models this is because the publishers whant the readers to identify with the models.
