Qu 6: Technologies

Using flickr and blogspot allowed me to organise the blog much easier. The use of flickr greatly increased the effectiveness of my annotations because I can show what i am talking about instead of trying to describe where it is on the page. Blogger is a simple way of organising the work in posts and also because you publish annotations on to blogger from flickr. Using photoshop gave distinct advantages such as the spotlight tool to lighten the faces on my front cover because i did take some pictures with a real spotlight however it was too bright for the effect I needed also i had to take the photos outside because of the better natural light. Also with using photoshop i also learnt new skills such as inner glow and drops shadow for the text also for the double page spread i used text wrap around the two heads. Using dafont.com gave me a greater choice of fonts to search and use.

I did make a draft front cover and contents just by using Internet pictures and the style did not vary too much from the draft. however i could not get all the pictures at the best time so it took a bit too long changing the draft into the final version.
